DESCRIPTION

 

2,3-difluoro-5-chloropyridine is an important intermediate in the synthesis of efficient pesticide ethyne oxalate. In the past decade, fluorinated pesticides have developed rapidly and have become a focus of the world's pesticide industry. Among them, fluorinated pyrethroids and fluorinated benzoylurea insecticides have been widely developed and applied.Because the atomic radius of fluorine is small, slightly larger than the atomic radius of hydrogen, it has great electronegativity, close to hydroxyl, and the c-F bond energy formed by fluorine is larger than the c-H bond energy, which can maintain high stability of fluoride; The introduction of fluorine atoms (especially the cF group) reduces the density of electron cloud in the molecule, improves the ability to resist decomposition, and thus makes the compound show lasting efficacy; At the same time, the introduction of fluorine atoms or fluorine containing groups can improve the lipophilicity of compounds, enhance hydrophobicity, easily penetrate the biofilm and quickly reach the site of action, bind with enzymes in the organism, inhibit them, and cause the organism to lose its function and die.
