DESCRIPTION
1.1.3.3 Tetramethylguanidine, also known as tetramethylguanidine, is a co solvent for the synthesis of new antibiotic cephalosporins and can also be used in industries such as dye intermediates and polymer polymerization. The preparation of 1.1.3.3 tetramethylguanidine is usually achieved by reacting 1.1.3.3 tetramethylguanidine hydrochloride with an aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide, followed by extraction and distillation. According to records, there are generally two preparation methods for producing 1.1.3.3 tetramethylguanidine hydrochloride. One method is to add xylene solvent to the reactor, add dimethylamine gas, and add dimethylamine hydrochloride, cool to -5 ℃, and then introduce chlorocyanide gas into the reactor. After the introduction is completed, Maintain the reaction at room temperature for 1 hour, then heat and reflux for 4 hours. After cooling, filter out the precipitate, and wash with a small amount of petroleum ether to obtain tetramethylguanidine hydrochloride.
