The additive amount is determined by the odor severity, typically recommended at 0.3 -1.0%. Beyond deodorization, DP-1602 effectively suppresses VOCs generatedring polyurethane foam production, reducing all aldehyde levels and significant contributing to overall VOC control. it can also serve as a foamaldehyde elimination agent.

Brief Introduction:

During polyurethane production, the dor stems not only from raw materials but also from volatile small-molecule compounds generated during the reaction process, resulting in unacceptable odors in the final product. DP-1602 is a specialized additive designed to eliminate odors and other small molecules (particularly those affecting VOC levesl) during polyurethane manufacturing. this additive effectively captures aldehydes and other volatile organic compounds produced in complex reaction systems. through irreversible chemical reactions, DP-1602 rapidly foams stable, non-volatile compounds with these organic substances. When applied to polyurethane foam, it significantly reduces unplesant odors and serves as an effective deodorizer. When used in other polyurethane products like self-curing foams and microcellular elastomers, it inhibits the formation of VOC-concentrating compounds, thereby contributing to overall VOC control.
