For automotive high-resilience molding, adding 0.5% of the weight of the polyether can increase the demolding speed by 30 seconds. When used with DP-224G and other catalysts, automotive carpets can achieve a fastest demolding time of 45 seconds. The exact additive amount should be determined according to actual conditions. In special cases, DP-224G may cause minor closed-cell formation, which can be resolved by adding a small amount of cell-opener. this effectively helps manufacturers boost production capacity, thus achieving the goal of cost reduction.

 

DP-224G is a closed gel catalyst for polyurethan foam production, specifically designed to meet the demands of rapid demolding. It does not affect the foam's blowing time and can be directly added to the formulation.

In polyurethane product manufacturing, demolding time critically impacts production efficiency. While rapdi demolding is a common requirement for many factories, escessively fast demolding imposes stringent demand on both process parameters and formulation. The DP-224G formulation uniquely enables effective demolding time reduction through direct additive incooperation without modifying existing processes or formulations, thereby enhancing production efficiency. Approximately 0.5 parts of this additive per 100 partsof polyether can increase demolding time by 1 minute. Adding one part may accelerate demolding by around 2 mintes, depending on specific formulations. Notably, the substantial heat generateduring rapid molding may cause partial cell closure in foam structures. To address this, appropriate cell-opening agents should be incorporated into the formulation, with the dosage of 1-3 parts determined based on specific formulation requirements.
